Cabalva Grass fed beef

Cabalva Estate encompasses both spring fed hill grassland and rich water-meadows along the banks of the River Wye.  A flock of around 800 breeding Texel/Llwyn ewes and pedigree Jacobs alongside a herd of pure-bred Aberdeen Angus cattle graze over the sunny south facing fields overlooking the Black Mountains and the river Wye.  

All the animals are 100% grass fed and we operate a closed system breeding our own replacements.  We are proud of the fact that they are born and live full happy lives at Cabalva.  

We believe in the beneficial qualities of slow maturing meat – our animals are allowed to mature naturally and our beef is aged for 28 days.
