What an amazing place to celebrate a special birthday with all our family under one roof. A beautiful house which has been kitted out fantasically - the kitchen has everything we needed and more. The views are breathtaking. Would recommend the owl centre and the Elan valley - great place for children.

Amazing Views - to wake up to be blessed with nice weather. Canoe the river and relax, just what we needed. Thanks Zoe.

We had a fabulous long weekend here with our son and daughter and both families( 5 adults and 5 children) Perfect house with beautiful views. We had a great boat trip ( canoe) in four boats from Hay to the Boat Inn…...Thank you for a great house with no neighbours we would definitely recommend it.. .

Many thanks for this wonderful location. There were 11 of us and I doubt whether we could of found anywhere more suitable than here. The area is stunning and the seclusion very welcome. Facilities excellent. The canoe hire was alot of fun and would recommend it. Thanks for your hospitality.

A super barn in a beautiful setting tranquil with a great vista. Thank you for your welcome. We enjoyed a walk into Hay-on-wye the cycling from Brecon to Talgarth, the National Welsh caves ( fantastic but bit pricey) & old market town of Abergavenny. Plenty of good cafes and shopes taste the execellent local cakes. Pretty good food at the Boat Inn just a few miles away and a good cinema in Hereford for those rainy Welsh days. All in all a wonderful week with the family.

We have had another amazing week in a fantastic house… the sun shone every day too! Plenty of space for the kids to run around and explore in & a courtyard thats perfect for a bit of cricket. We would definatley recommend the Tram Inn for food ( make sure you book) as well and the Dinosaur Park in Brecon. I am sure we will be back .

People, if you want a truly get away from it all, beautiful, relaxing holiday let, you have to visit Cwm Pelved. Breath taking scenery, fantastic walking, friendly locals, cute animals at the farm, wood burning fires, comfy beds and a bath with perhaps the most amazing views ever. We loved it so much, we’re going again next year!

We spent a wonderful few days at Cabalva celebrating my 70th birthday with all my family. The property lies tucked away on a hillside with a magnificent view of the river miandering below. There are many things to keep you occupied from lovely walks to canoeing down the river. There are more than enough eating establishments within easy reach. The property itself is to die for and the management team and owners have managed to supply everything you would need to make your stay both comfortable as well as very quiet. Of course the peace may be occasionally disturbed by the bleet of a sheep or the dawn chorus from the vast array of wild birds. I cannot speak more highly of this beautiful property and location and look forward to our next visit later this year.
